Butterchurn Guest House

Very homely, relaxed and nothing too much trouble, ideal location for wedding at Woodhill hall, with a short taxi ride less than a mile but not ideal to walk in your party shoes! Breakfast was lovely with quality ingredients. You can have as much or little as you please. The room was very well presented also.

There is nothing to not like.

Only slight problem was the toilet being downstairs in our room with our beds up stairs. But wasn’t much of a problem.

Stayed at butterchurn as attending wedding next door, much cheaper but had lovely room and the garden area was lovely

Possibly a ramp into the building for people with mobility issues but we managed, there is a ramp up to the the front door but has a small lip on the front door that my mothers mobility scooter cldnt go over but I managed lift it across as she can walk a little

Very nicely set out. Location perfect for our needs.

There were no staff there to help at all to help or advise. The room was really cold and damp. The bar onsite was closed so unable to get a drink when we returned to the accommodation.
