So, we began our trip around Yssykul with few problems (lost phone, car battery down). Luckily enough, the host Sergej has been extremely helpful and supportive, helping us fixing it all and making the most out of our stay. He and his wife are welcoming and will make you feel at home. Definitely recommended and thanks again Sergej!

The host Serguei was very friendly. I had the private room and it was very confortable, large bed, private bathroom with hot shower. Good breakfast included. Close to restaurants and supermarkets.

I passed through Karakol three times between various area activities and booked this guesthouse, sight unseen, for all three stays - and am so pleased I did. Sergei and Luba have created a cheerful, accommodating environment. Breakfast was simple but tasty (omelet, vegetables, cheese, vegetables, bread, tea/coffee), the space was shaded from the harsh Karakol sun and felt fresh, the beds and pillows were comfortable, and the shower water was hot. Sergei is skilled in the communicative art of pantomime and helped me with various issues during my stay despite my limited Russian and his limited English. I had my laundry done, twice, for 200 som. Location is convenient - a grocery store and restaurants are nearby, and the hub of the town is maybe 15-20 minutes away on foot. After my first stay, I looked forward to my two remaining stays with pleasure.

Nothing, really. I would happily stay here again. On my third stay I was put in a room that did not have a lock; they explained that this room was in the part of the property that they lived in and that it was safe. Given that at least one of them was on the property at all times, I was comfortable with this - I'm mentioning it here because some people might not have been comfortable with it.

Sergueï et sa femme sont très accueillant. La chambre était spacieuse, propre et le lit confortable. Le petit déjeuner était copieux et très bon 🙂
