An amazing place to stay in Unawatuna. The room was super clean, the air conditioning worked great and the lady who cleaned the house was super warm and very helpful. One of the top accommodations in Sri Lanka value for money. I would love to go there again. Thank you for everything!

"A definite recommendation"

Brilliant accommodation. We had such a lovely time that we actually went back two weekends in a row. The room was fantastic with a mosquito net, Aircon, and a very clean bathroom. You also get a cold drink & flannel on arrival! Their is a kitchenette and fridge for guests. Would definitely recommend- great value for money!

Very clean. Mosquito net with bed. Drying rack in room. Spacious room. Lovely staff. Had a communal kitchen with everything you might need!

"The most comfortable bed that we stayed in during our whole trip!"

Shyama was a wonderful host. She was very attentive and welcomed us with cold towels and a welcome drink - it was a very welcoming greeting. The bed in the apartment was the most comfortable bed that we have stayed in during our whole trip in Sri Lanka - I didn’t actually want to get out of it in the morning! The bed was even more comfortable than in some of the 4-5* hotels that we have stayed in! The apartment was very well sized, with an adjoining kitchen which was very spacious. Shyama showed us around the kitchen and told us that we were welcome to use anything to cook if we wished to. I would have loved to have stayed here longer for 1 night, I could not recommend Apna Homestay enough! Thank you so much Shyama.

"Pleasant"

The property is in a nice and quiet location, and there is lots of greenery around. There's a kitchen with a working stove and refrigerator that are quite useful for longer stays. The host is responsive to messages.

The bathroom door couldn't be shut from the inside, which was really inconvenient. There were also quite a few mosquitoes in the room, so we had to use mosquito repellant since the mosquito net over the bed had holes in them. The dustbin in the kitchen was overflowing with food waste, and sadly wasn't cleaned during our entire stay
