Hostal Rancho Sabor Isleño - Ometepe

We had a very nice stay! The town is not so popular with tourists, so if you want to be with the locals this is the best place to be. They will arange a scooter for you. It is a good base to explore the Ometepe Island.. Totally safe and the owners are super nice. Delicious breakfast! 🌋🥰 Thank you!

No functional wifi and the room directly next to the kitchen. So we had really bad air

I like the different place the hotel has for people to relax, there is a roof terrace that is phenomenal I am out of words to describe how tranquil and peaceful that place was, it is definitely a place everyone should go

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They helped us organise our time on the island. The bed was comfortable. The price was brilliant. The location was perfect (great town to base yourself on the island, lovely central park). Delicious and reasonably priced restaurant downstairs. We had use of kitchen facilities and hammocks to relax. Had a really lovely rooftop terrace also.

The room was small and hot. The shower head was broken. Booking not being sufficiently transparent with additional taxes and charges.

It's easy to get to, really comfortable, the staff was nice.

Got told they did brekky the night before, then didn’t do brekky in the morning. Bit of a pain in the ass because nothing else was open in the morning. Pretty standard latino I spose.

This place has a bar/restaurant on first floor, and it is opened till late night, and it is loud music, locals having beer and partying till 1-2AM at night, so the sleepless nights are guaranteed. When I went to the girl at front desk to complain, she only said Sorry about that. I asked when the bar is close, she said they are opened till the last customer. I understand they want to sell as much beer as they can, but what about their guests upstairs? They are not entitled for a good night sleep because of that? On a positive side I have to mention that the place is clean and staff is super friendly although they don't speak much of English.

In city proximity, the rooms were good size, good water pressure, all the flora , the in house restaurant/bar , the view can go up to, the coffee shop across street , the price. Will be back to watch superbowl this weekend !!
