Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen

The gem of Ijen is definitely an accurate description for this sanctuary. This property is stunning. Its nestled away in nature, surrounded by beautiful plants and wildlife. Ericka, her son and team were so welcoming and kind. The food (cooked by Erickas son) was incredible, probably the most tasty dish we have had in Indonesia! The houses are super comfortable, the perfect spot to sit and recovery after Ijen! The pool was so refreshing and the sound of the river beside it was so calming. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay if hiking Mt Ijen. Scooter or car needed for long stays!

Relaxing beautiful garden and river setting. Great room with private outdoor seating area. Friendly cats. Our host: excellent communication, organised our onward transport and Mt Ijen hike at competitive prices. Highly recommend.

Loved everything. 5* but it is time to replace bath towels.

Un verdadero paraíso. Rodeado de selva, la paz que hemos encontrado allí no tiene descripción. Hemos descansado muchísimo. Ericka es una mujer espectacular que nos ha tratado con cariño y ha hecho nuestra estancia más agradable aún. La comida que ofrecen es fantástica y la zona donde está ubicada la villa es preciosa, muy rural y auténtica, rodeada de arrozales y pequeños pueblos donde la gente local sonríe amablemente y mira con extrañeza al extranjero ya que el turismo apenas ha llegado hasta allí. Sí tengo la fortuna de volver me alojaré de nuevo allí sin ninguna duda. Gracias Ericka 😘

Environment was beautiful, the staff was nice

Service level and restaurant choice is minimal and nothing around, bungalow is not insulated so you hear all the noises during the night (road, mosque, etc)

Nice ambient, perfect place to stay for Kawah Ijen, good staffs espescially Bu Ericka is superhost👍

Location a little bit far from mini market or resto/cafe

Bungalow s velkou pohodlnou terasou v krásné divoké zahradě s potokem. Zvuk vodopádu je skvělá ukolébavka. Lokalita ideální pro noční výstup na sopku Ijen. Výborné večeře i snídaně. Moc děkuju za zorganizování řidiče pro odjezd (hodně brzo ráno na vlak)

Erica is very helpful guide that assisted us in booking scooters and finding a driver on Bali. She also helped out planning our Idjen trip. The room was spacious.

Menu in the restaurant is a bit limited but the food was good.

On arrive ici au jardin d' Éden. Beaucoup de goût et de raffinement dans l'agencement du jardin et des cottages. La piscine permet de se détendre dans un cadre enchanteur

Hélas quelques négligences au niveau de l'entretien ternissent un peu de ce lieu apaisant (interrupteur si noir qu'on ose à peine y poser les doigts, serviette de toilette déchirée)
