Juda Holiday Villa

The room was clean and had fan on the celling. Private bathroom with towels. The owner had an electricity panel that enable us to use european plugs - super nice :) They helped us get to our next destination (checked buses and routes for us so we knew where and when to catch it ;) )

Juda is a simple and cheap B&B near Kallady beach, a leafy residential area of Batticaloa, about 15 mins by tuk-tuk from the main bus station. The 2 guest bedrooms are clean and have mosquito nets, fans, wi-fi, hard beds and ensuite bathrooms, but no hot water. Breakfast is good: limited dinner options are also available. The hosts are welcoming, and there are bicycles for rental.

Juda is a very friendly and welcoming host. Beach is walking distance and the dinner recommendation was great and walkable. Wifi was super fast and the room was clean. We only stayed for a stopover night, but could really imagine that it'd be worth spending a couple of days in Batticaloa with Juda. Value for money is fantastic.
