ABLA Guest House

Check in instructions were very clear and smooth. Room was clean and comfortable and location was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay.

Breakfast didn't start until 0800 so I never got to try it as i had to be at work by 0800. Also I couldn't find the WIFI password anywhere. They were no included in my check in instructions.

Espaço bem mantido, quarto espaçoso que acomodou muito bem a nossa família. Pequeno almoço completo e agradável.

Nada a apontar

Chambre confortable, avec une très bonne literie. L’emplacement est idéal pour se rendre à Lisbonne, Cascais, Sintra et sur la côte. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. Personnel agréable et le ménage est fait chaque jour.

À l’arrivée un souci de propreté au niveau des toilettes mais vite oublié grâce a la qualité des prestations pendant le reste du séjour.

Lovely and clean

No extras it was standard, no fried eggs at breakfast or beans, breakfast quite bland

Very pleasant staff. Clear instruction to get in. Clean room, there is a small fridge too. Beds are comfortable. Parking on site, paid for additionally, 5eur/day, reserve in advance. Quiet neighbourhood. Carcavelos is 30min by train from Lisbon. Train s were on time, station is 15min walk. In the evening train was replaced by bus, and it takes 90min. It is close to the beach, 10 min walk, there are Restaurants nearby. Supermarket is in the nearby hotel. Airconditioned, maybe important during summer.

If you are not at the start time for breakfast, there is noone, specially during weekend to top up the serving table , we were left 2 days without real food. Kitchen is just beside. like in an appartement, but there was no personnel to fry another egg or put some Cheese or salad. I had to refill the coffe machine with water myself, it is homey feeling.
