Perola Marinha

The property is only a 7-8 minute walk from the beautiful, white sand Majorda beach. The owners, who live downstairs, are very warm and welcoming and made us feel very comfortable throughout our 3-day trip. They called us over for drinks on our anniversary and got us pois from their bakery, making our trip even more memorable! The kitchenette is well-equipped with enough plates and cutlery to serve as well as cook basic food and make tea/coffee as required. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it had a tiny fridge where we could keep our drinks. The common living room and sit-out areas are spacious enough for large groups. The property has ample parking space for cars and 2 wheelers.

The location was very nice. The beach is only 5 minutes' walk away from the house, and there is a very nice restaurant next door called The Pentagon with live music every day. The surroundings were very pretty

The house is very hard to find. It is a big orange house opposite "The Purple House", but the sign with the house name can't be seen from the street at all. Make sure you call the host if you can't find it. Also the location is a bit remote, so either pre-book taxis or rent a two-wheeler

Good hospitality, service. Homely atmosphere. Walkable distance from Majorda beach. Overall a good stay.

We came here for 17 days for sure, we knew from last year that this is a great Guesthouse. We travel a lot, but Perola Marinha is the best of them all. Great price for great service. The cleanest rooms and the whole house, friendly family and very nice people in this accommodation.Perfectly clean, neatly tidy, absolutely superb!
