Hotel O Catraio

I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my recent stay at a property I booked through your platform, which was advertised as a hotel but turned out to be far below acceptable standards – worse than a basic guesthouse. The property lacked even the most essential elements of hygiene and comfort. The room was dirty, poorly maintained, with no proper ventilation, lighting, or clean facilities. There was no evidence of cleaning services, and the overall environment was completely unhygienic and uncomfortable. This was in stark contrast to the photos and descriptions provided on your website. The experience was extremely disappointing and by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I trusted the information on Booking.com, and I feel misled by the false advertising. I kindly request that you investigate this matter seriously and consider removing or re-evaluating the listing to prevent future customers from experiencing the same issues. I would also appreciate a response regarding possible compensation for the inconvenience caused

Needs rooms to be updated

Quiet spot with good accessibility to most services like transportation, market, restaurants and cafes. Located in Montijo, you can get to most places in Lisbon within an hour (public transportation) including the airport.

WiFi signal doesn’t reach ground rooms, window needs a proper net and privacy curtains to keep air quality. Lisbon card doesn’t cover transportation in Montijo, separate card is required.

Value for money is good.
