Perfect location, very friendly staff, wonderful facilities, highly recommended

A little oasis in the hills, lovely staff, very clean and modern.

There was some sort family reunion at the hotel the weekend we were staying - I certainly appreciate the joys of such events, but it shouldn’t be done at other guests’ expense. We chose this hotel for peace and quiet and it would have been, if this family party was paying more attention to their children (6 or 7 kids of all ages) and not let them run amok well past midnight. The quiet hours are indicated as 22.00-08.00 and at no point any of the staff tried to remind this party to adhere to it. Otherwise, it would have been a lovely stay.

It is a wonderful place to relax, the owners, the staff, the rooms, the views were all amazing.

Everything very clean and nicely decorated..

Newly decorated, spacious rooms. Room with beautiful mountain view. Nice area for inside and outside dining. Clean, heated pool. Safe parking directly at the hotel. Situated in a small village in the hills, very quiet. Dinner in the hotel offers good value for money and no other restaurants close by. The tomatoes from the hotel´s own garden are truly delicious :-). Last, but not least: The staff is exceptionally helpful and friendly and does everything to make your stay comfortable and special. Sandy beach at the coast 20 - 30 minutes drive away (free parking). Well situated for hiking, visit to caves, trip to Santander or Bilbao.

Middle of nowhere. Very clean. The setting is superb, especially the views over the mountains. The swimming pool was amazing and surprisingly not advertised very much.

It's an area where there is farming, so lots of flies are to be expected. But there weren't enough fly traps. The bar was covered in flies and a few fly killers would have gone a long way to making it a bit more comfortable for guests. Breakfast was a little disappointing. I like crispy bacon, but the bacon felt like it had been severely over-cooked. And a big reliance on bread. Nobody needs 4 different types of bread for breakfast.

We loved our stay here. Tucked away in a small village, off beaten path, yet comfortable, well thought through, and with excellent restaurant. Breakfast was amazing.
