Absolutely nothing

Dirty entrance hallway, with lots of random things lying around, including bags of cement (with no obvious signs of work being carried out). Dirty stairs, with spillages (milk?) on all flights. Room was on the top floor, with no elevator. My mum's mobility isn't great, so she struggled. Would have been helpful to know about this at time of booking. Received a message upon arrival to tell me which apartment to go to, and that the key was inside a cup which was on top of a metal cupboard beside the door. Opened the door to find the room occupied by someone else. Received another message to say that this was the wrong apartment, and to get the key for the correct apartment under the doormat. Upon entering the apartment I quickly realised that the photos online were very cleverly taken, and seem to have been a good few years old. The apartment was neat, but shabby, with clear wear and tear, and hairs within the bedding. Rooftop area is a shared space (with the other apartment on this floor), which was also not mentioned in the description. Air conditioning unit worked, but after 10 minutes we found a pool of water had collected on the floor underneath it. At this point we decided to look for alternative accommodation and did not stay here. A grim experience. Found a hotel nearby that was excellent, and cheaper!

It was decorated very nice, the balcony was amazing, and it had everything we needed.

Nothing it was amazing

Lovely space, very well thought out. Lovely terrace and ten minute walk from the train station.

Could hear the train line very early. Not a big deal but worth noting.

Hot tub, theme based decor, huge balconies, good area not too far from sorrento center but not exactly in it.

This apartment exceeded my expectations, it was beautiful and I did not expect to have such a large private terrace with hot tub. I had seen in the pictures but assumed this was a shared area. Maria was friendly and attentive. She was available on WhatsApp and provided lots of information, including offering to reserve a table at her brothers restaurant. Location pretty good, about a 10/15 min walk into the centre of Sorrento.

We couldn’t get the air con to work so it was a very hot night. It switched on and said it was 17 degrees but the little thermostat said it was 30 and it never cooled down. We only stayed 1 night so it wasn’t the end of the world but would have become an issue if we stayed longer and couldn’t get it working. The mattress was a little hard but other than that I can’t complain. Really good value for money.
