The host, Adrian, will provide you with any possible tip and advise on things to do. On the second day all guests were offered a splurge of freshly fished tuna and instructions on which restaurant we could have it prepared for us. magical!

Adrian and Marie were simply spectacular hosts! The accommodation has a level of comfort and attention to details that it’s simply exceptional.. We felt cocooned and taken care of. Not to mention the breakfast, simply wow! We loved the dogs, super sweet and calm. The room was big, bed comfy and all you could have wanted was already there without asking! And then the hosts had always a suggestion for what we could do. It honestly felt like visiting people you’ve known since a very long time!

That we didn’t stay longer! But definitely a place to come back, also to spend time with Adrian and Marie!

Kwalucia is a lovely family-run bed and breakfast. The room was its own independent unit which was very tastefully furnished in African style. The bed was very comfortable and the bathtub and shower were top notch. The garden is very lush and makes you feel like you are in a tropical paradise. Adrian and Marie are extremely friendly and attentive and happy to give you recommendations and advice. They’re always very easy to reach if you have questions. Breakfast is also very good. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would definitely consider going back if I happen in the area again.

The only minor improvement point is that, since the bathroom and bedroom are not physically separate (as one can see from the photos) there is light coming in from the back window early in the morning. Also the curtains are not fully blackout so you can expect to wake up early. I’m usually quite sensitive to light when sleeping but this didn’t bother me much on this occasion.

Das schönste Quartier unserer Rundreise, hier fehlt es einem wirklich an nichts. Wunderschön eingerichtete Räume in einem tollen Garten, super tolle Gastgeber, perfekte Lage im Ort und zu allen Ausflugszielen. Es gibt ein liebevoll zusammen gestelltes und köstliches Frühstück und viele Tipps. Liebe Marie, lieber Adrian nochmals vielen Dank.

Der Garten ist ein Traum, allerdings wird es schwierig in diesem Dschungel einen Sonnenplätzchen zu finden.

We had the most wonderful four days at Kwalucia – truly exceptional in every way. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful little touches, everything was perfect. The breakfasts were outstanding, all homemade with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. The rooms and communal were spotless and beautifully maintained, with incredible attention to detail. Adrian and Marie went above and beyond, even taking the boys to play golf twice – such kindness and generosity. Thank you for making our last days in South Africa so special. We can’t recommend Kwalucia highly enough

What an unforgettable stay!! Kwalucia is pure magic: gorgeous African-style rooms hidden in a lush jungle garden, breakfasts that belong in a five-star hotel (homemade granola, homemade yogurt, freshly baked bread, fresh juices, perfect coffee), and the kindest hosts you could ever imagine. They welcomed us with drinks, gave us a map full of tips, arranged tours for us, refreshed our room daily, surprised us with a handwritten “bedtime story,” and even packed us a fresh breakfast-to-go at 5:30 AM(!!!) Their warmth and hospitality took our stay to the next level: Kwalucia is an absolute gem, 10/10! ✨

Very warm welcome and full experience hospitality! Breakfast is amazing! Although Hippo’s are eating at night in the opposite of the entrance, it is still very peaceful and quiet. You can walk to all nice restaurants in 5 minutes.
