The TollHouse

It was in a historic Toll House and surprisingly large and extremely comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was more like a large apartment we were staying in, rather than just a room and was superb and fantastic location for the Wallace Jemorial, Stirling Castke and Bannockburn,which we visited. Two minutes walk across the old stone bridge was a small supermarket inside a garden centre, which had everything we needed to stock up on. They even had microwave meals we could have heated up in the Toll House microwave, and there was plenty room in the fridge to hold all our supplies.

The fantastic comfy bed, which we could have slept in for days, but we heeded to be up and out by 08.00 to beat the tourist queues at the Wallace Memoria, which we did. As we had the roof view to ourselves for some great photos.

Great facilities, very clean, lovely home

The accommodation is really cosy with everything you need. It's great for a relaxing break and there's a pub selling food which is walking distance. The bed was very comfortable and cosy.The hosts are great and really helpful with info on nearby places to visit. We would stay again.

The location was quiet and very pleasant, the place itself was really nice, host was very helpful with excellent balance between being helpful and respecting our space, everything was very well thought out, private and top quality.

Minor problem with WiFi buffering on television, an additional lamp by TV might help with lighting. Very minor points...

Absolutely lovely self contained unit. Great space with own lounge and kitchenette. Will keep this in my favourites for future visits to Stirling.

Absolutely delightful view, on natures doorstep and plenty of things to do locally to experience. Was beautiful and clean and provided everything we needed during our stay..Didn't have to worry about where to park the car, clean towels or if it was going to be clean enough! Would certainly recommend and stay here again. Fi did a wondrous job from the second we said hello! Don't miss out on staying here!

There's was nothing we didn't like!

No breakfast provided which we, knew. Leanne,who welcomed us was, very helpful when we arrived and left. We didn't meet Fi as she was working during our stay.
