Casa Nym

The room is beautiful, as pictured, but beware that there is no air conditioning. They tell you this is no problem, but of course when you open the window, in come the flies and all of the noise from the shopping street below. Asked for a fan but was told they didn't have one. In addition, they have sealed the upper windows closed (for their convenience we assume) and you only get a small bit of air IF there is wind. The man who showed us the room was very kind (he saw the tears in my wife's eyes).

The check-in process was a nightmare. We were really given the runaround, passed off to another person who barely spoke English and ignored by the main contact. My wife was in tears thinking we had nowhere to stay for the night. When the non-English speaking man we got connected to took us to the room, the entrance was so sketchy and dark and covered with water damage that we were extremely worried. As previous reviewers have mentioned, the stairs are incredibly old and worn, very difficult to navigate with luggage. There was no tissue or drinking cup as shown. I'm sure they got all of their friends and family to rate the place as excellent, because it is not (as the real and honest reviewers have shared).

just great! very friendly and patient staff, it was very clean, the place is simply beautiful and the location is just great (directly in the old town at only 5min on foot from a good parking lot). We'll definitely stay here again if we come back to Brașov!

The design of both rooms is beautiful! it was very clean, the location is also great on one of the greatest streets in the old town and at the same time very quiet.
