There was an unpleasant smell in the room which may have been curry. There was parking available on the road but it is quite a busy street. The offstreet parking is in a shared driveway and on the 1st night at around 8 pm I had a couple of guys knocking on the door asking to move the car so they could get their boat out which was not ideal. Another day the driveway was blocked by cars so the off street parking is not always an option.
NZThe pod was a 3-4 minute walk to the beach and close to the Mountain Maunganui shopping area and sporting areas.A supermarket just up the road fantastic walking tracks along the beach front.
