Les Garden villa

Thank you Made and Ketut for hosting us at Les Garden. We stayed in the new villa (2 months old) which was a fantastic jungle retreat and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The accom wasn't as secluded as we thought and we were able to easily walk to nearby warungs for meals, the waterfall and to the local market. It's worth noting that we walked everywhere with a pram, except for the waterfall because we left it at a warung half way up. The locals are so lovely and the nearby village are charming. There is so much to do in Les and I felt we barely scratched the surface - I wish we had have booked for longer.

The property is under construction. Only two “villas” working. When we arrived we thought it was not operative because all the entrance and everything was like destroyed. The villa did not have door, they said they were going to install it next day but was not true. No intimacy, all the workers seeing us all the time. The worst part is that thy enter in the villa with no notice, I was wakking up nearly naked and they were inside the room!!! When asked he reason they said because they were calling us and did not answer.. was 7:30 am in the morning…. And we were awake because the workers started working next to our window at 7:00. So irrespecutful. We choose it because we thought as it was in the middle of nowhere would be quite and it is worst than the middle of Ubud. Neighbors playing veeeery loud music all night, at 6 am also and all day you can hear like a karaoke. Motorbikes in the morning. But wait, the worst part is the RAT. We came back to the room and all our vitamines where aten in the bed, she destroyed also our bag and box. We saw her going up to the roof of the house ** disclaimer, the house is full of holes ( not well done) also the rain come in) ** . We were afraid to sleep there, in case the rat came back but the owner did not gave us any solution, just asked for the picture. We went to sleep, and in the middle of the night we had a third guest in our bed. We could not kick he rout so we had to sleep in the garden. ** there is no one there during the stay, you will be completly alone in the jungle with no door, everyone can enter from the road** And do not rent a motorbike from them, it is 100k instead of 75k and we had an accident because the breaks stopped working going down a hill, when we talked to the owner he said again that sometimes they do not work and need to wait… whaaaaaaatttt??? Bonus track: toilett is not well hidden so everyone sees you showering and …

Les Garden Villa provided us with an amazing stay with a private pool to enjoy. The outdoor kitchen was great and the pool bean bag was amazing to relax on. I would recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in this area :)

Quite simply, it is a small “slice of heaven” A magical place where you can forget your worries and relax. it’s like the rest of the world doesn’t exist.

Secluded jungle hideaway in a beautiful part of Bali. Clean, private, and with welcoming and friendly hosts. I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful swimming pool, kitchen, garden

It was like a small piece of paradise where you can forget about the rest of the world. Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful.

An hidden oasis! This was one of the most relaxing stays we’ve had during the past 6 months of travelling. The room was clean and comfy and property well maintained by lovely Ketut. It’s pretty isolated so you’ll need to hire a bike, but you can do that through the accomodation. Fleur made us the most delicious food too! Breakfast wraps, sticky pork belly, and chicken noodle soup. Fleur really looked after us and helped with solve any issues we had. The whole experience was so lovely and we can’t wait to come back one day.

Only downsides are no water in the room, and the mosquito net could do with a wash. A breakfast/food menu in the room would be a really nice touch too considering it’s so isolated! There was also construction throughout our stay, and whilst they were respectful it was quite a disruption.
