Valiko house in Telavi

I had a great stay at the guest house. The place was very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making it comfortable. The host was extremely helpful and kind. He even offered us his own homemade wine and fresh fruits from his garden, which was a lovely touch. Overall, it was a pleasant and welcoming experience!

Valiko is an extremely friendly host, although he spoke little english and we spoke no russian nor georgian he made things work out, He also organised a tour of the area visting a few monasteries and a winery on the way to Sighnagi, Beautifull propery with very decent rooms

Valiko , the owner has a nice guesthouse on a quiet road. Rooms are specious and all is clean. He is very friendly and helpful. Uses google translate easily😁. The garden and terrace are amazing. It was very warm so we were happy with the good airco👍

The room is a nice and generous in size, typical of traditional Georgian houses. With lovely garden and terrace, which the host toured us around. The host was 10/10. Valiko is very sweet and able to offer advice and offers tour services in the area. We went on a full day tour with him 11am-6pm, where he drove us around the area to 4/5 local monasteries and 3 wineries. He offered us homemade wine on his terrace and generously drove us into town with our luggage to catch the next Marshrutka to Tbilisi at the end of our stay. This stay is comfortable and great value for money.

There is a shared kitchen which is great but it had limited cutlery/equipment, so if the guesthouse is full (which it was when we were there) it is challenging. We paid him 250 lari for a full day tour of the area, which in hindsight is very steep. Valiko offers the equivalent of a private taxi service but has limited/no English. Google translate is useful in this situation. If you want to tour the area, be aware of this.
