Every once in a while, you stumble upon a gem among the rocks. It has happened only a few times in my years of travel that I stayed in a place that far exceeded my expectations. This is definitely one of them. The friendly hostess shows you around the impressive apartment (2 rooms, bathroom and a connecting hall with a large fridge). In the evening, one can enjoy the private terrace with amazing view across the (beautifully tended) garden. The enormous room features a large bed with super-comfy fluffy pillows that make you drift away as soon as your head hits them. And as the house sits in the middle of the fields, there is not a single noise that might disturb that sleep at night. The luxurious bathroom, as well as the bedroom, have every little item one might need during their stay. This is a place where tension flows away, the moment you arrive. A place where you might want to stay (a lot) longer than was planned.

Very quiet, lovely surroundings, nicely furnished and equipped, ideal for "getting away" from the noisy city for a few days. Very friendly welcome and I could even "loan" the private bike for a little while.

Coming back in the dark can be a bit challenging as the location really is a bit isolated (which is good and bad).
