The sockets had some problems

There was an issue regarding a gluten free dinner for my wife which is a medical necessity. This seems to have happened because booking.com didn’t communicate properly between the property and us guests. The manager went way out of his way to resolve this and all was fine.

We paid for a “family room” expecting a double or queen bed but it was a very compact room with two single beds side by side - but OK for one night, this is typical in Namibia. The far bigger issue is that those of our party with exposed legs/feet in the outdoor dining area suffered scores of flea bites. There was a cat around which may have been the cause. A week later we still have highly visible lesions, we may have had additional bites from clothing when travelling in the car, and now have to isolate our laundry until we get home and can wash it.

We are grateful to the management that helped us finally to get back our belongings. The staff was very friendly and the place was cosy and exceptionally nice. We will check in again when travelling Tsumeb.
