la situation centrale

l'accueil de l'arrivée : nous n'avons la chambre qu'à 3 heures de l'après-midi. Les lits ne sont pas très confortables. Il manque des lampes de chevets et une petite table pour écrire. Les portes de la chambre sont vitrées et la lumière de l'autre chambre et du palier sont gênantes. Plus d'info sur le fonctionnement des divers appareils (ballon d'eau chaude, sèche cheveux vtc etc...)

La chambre ne fermait pas à clé

La posizione centrale e la tranquillità della zona

Il bagno ha la vasca senza tenda o altro che permetta di fare una doccia il muro era completamente scrostato dall' umidità e non c'erano porta asciugamani sufficienti. Il letto era scomodo evidentemente di un'altra epoca con solo un topper di pessima qualità a tentare di migliorare la situazione. In più non c'era la possibilità di chiudere a chiave la stanza. L' accesso al pianerottolo che prevedeva una seconda stanza anche quella senza serratura, si aveva solo dalla porta dell' ascensore mentre dalle scale non si poteva accedere senza chiave. Sicuramente per sfortuna è venuta a mancare l' elettricità per un lungo periodo e questo ha fatto si che per non rimanere chiusi fuori fosse necessario lasciare tutte le porte aperte, dando la possibilità a chiunque di entrare.

posizione centrale molto comoda per visitare La Valletta e arrivare in pochi minuti in qualunque punto di interesse o agli autobus o piroscafi

Non si poteva chiudere la porta della stanza, quando uscivi. Materasso (anzi materassi) scomodo. Io e mio marito abbiamo la schiena a pezzi.

I would not recommend this guesthouse: 1. Total lack of security: the room does not have a key to lock the room. The second night we found the neighbours in our room when we were already in bed. Absurd fear! 2. total lack of privacy: the first morning the neighbours woke us up at 6am because the two rooms are so close together and badly soundproofed. 3. poor hygiene: the room was infested with mosquitoes and the spare blanket was stained. 4. lack of communication: on the last morning, two hours before check-out, the power was switched off on the island and we knew nothing. Luckily we had just got out of the lift but we couldn't take a hot shower and we didn't have the keys to the door which allowed us to exit and re-enter via the stairs.
