In de wintermaanden is de kachel (zie foto) onvoldoende. Bij vraag voor een betere mocht ik een ruilen, maar dat was gelijke capaciteit. niet geruild, maar beide gebruikt. Toen werd het redelijk warm.

The location was good, especially since I don't mind walking a little and I wouldn't want to be in the middle of the city with all the activity and noise. It's across the river, so it's about a ten minute walk into the heart of the city. Checking in was a confusing process, because the confirmation tells you you're staying at #27, but that is not actually where you check in and get your key. After knocking on the door loudly a few times for about 30 minutes, I read the generic sign listing a support number more closely and it appeared to say that you need to go to #31 to check in. Which you do. The lady who manages the property is super nice but somewhat disorganized. It took some time to find a key that worked for the street entrance, so some key shuffling ensued. Then the wifi went out, which happened a couple times, but was easy to reset. The room itself was pleasant enough and the bathroom was fine. It's older wood construction, so you tend to hear other people's movements pretty well. All in all, an acceptable value and a quirky stay, which may be your jam.

Die Wohnung mit Küche, Bad und Wohnzimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Dunkelbraune Hoolztüren, Holzböden, hohe weiss gestrichene Decken und Wände und geschmackvoll bezogene Betten gestalteten den Raum wohnlich.

Ich wusste leider nicht, dass in Portugal ein Check-in nur bis 19.00 Uhr möglich ist. Dann hätte ich meine komplette Reise anders buchen müssen. Bitte schreiben Sie das zur Unterkunft noch hinzu, dass die Rezeption nur bis 19.00 Uhr besetzt ist. Leider war auch die Schrift beim Gästehaus so klein, dass ich einige Mal daran vorbeigelaufen bin, bis ich endlich das Haus gefunden habe.

In a peaceful neighborhood not far from Coimbra. Just a short walk downtown. Quiet, calm and the kitchen has everything you need.

I dont have any ideas in this moment what I missed. I felt sorry that we stayed only 1 night.

The place matched my needs perfectly. Coming for work, it was right next to my required area. The room was comfy and clean and spacious. The apt is quiet and well equiped. Staff was very kind and flexible.

The shower taps are quite hard to adjust to the right temperature so it was a little hard to get there. In the kitchen - it would be nice to have more than one size pan and maybe a flat frying spoon to use.
