There are nice wines to taste in the willage. The area is beautiful. I have visited Villany for a family get together, did not walk around too much.

The lady was a little wierd on our arrivals, firstly it seem she does not want to answer my question, like how dobI find my room. Later on she was okay.

"Just good for an overnight stay"

A comfy room with a nice terrace. Next to many wine shops.

Staying in the wine place we hoped for some introduction to their wines which we were happy to buy. A less lukewarm welcome and attitude would be nice too. After all you choose such places over hotels for the atmosphere they offer. Taking into account that the language is an issue for many in the area (no blame but pls don't expect tourists to learn Hungarian) it would help to prepare a little guide in English of places where visiting, walking paths etc. Google would do the translation job. All in all, as compared to the other wine regions in Hungary we visited (Tokaj, Eger, Balaton) we found this region boring & unispiring, also due to the atmosphere at this pension.
