GÖL PENSION Adult Only 16 Plus

We stayed at Gol Pension overnight on our journey from Cappadocia to Kaş as Egirdir was a convenient place to stop. The pension is on a small peninsula connected to the mainland. As it was early in the season we were the only ones there. Ahmet couldn't have been more obliging. He gave us the use of an adjoining room so that effectively we had a mini-apartment to ourselves. We had asked for breakfast (extra), and his sister laid on a delicious traditional Turkish spread, with homemade preserves. Ahmet had bought freshly baked simit from a local bakery, which was the best I have eaten (not usually a bread fan). He took care to get my egg just right. Very sweet family run operation, and it is spotlessly clean. We had dinner at a restaurant on the lake, diagonally opposite the pension.

It was quite cold at night, and would have liked a warmer duvet. I'm sure they would have given us one if we had asked. There was also a reversible ac/heater in the room which I didn't get right.

The friendliest hosts we couldn’t recommend this place more. They were accommodating for our arrival times and departures as well as providing the loveliest breakfast. Our room looked straight over the lake and it was beautiful! We cannot recommend them enough

Ένα από τα ποιο καθαρά και τακτοποιημένα δωμάτια που έχουμε μείνει. Είναι οικογενειακή επιχείρηση και όλο το προσωπικό ήταν άψογο. Το πρωινό απίθανο αν και χρεώνεται χωριστά. Η τοποθεσία είναι πολύ ήσυχη και ιδανική για να ηρεμήσεις.

Piccola pensione a conduzione familiare, ci hanno accolto caldamente ed è stato un piacere soggiornare da loro, bella vista dalla camera, camera spaziose e molto pulito. consigliato!!!

Achmed en zijn familie zijn uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je wordt met open armen ontvangen.. Spreken zeer goed Engels (en andere talen). Prachtig zicht op het meer, heerlijk ontbijt!

Nous avons été reçus comme des princes. Une famille accueillante et aimable. Un petit déjeuner varié et copieux. On se sent bien dans cette pension. Vraiment très bien.

Fabulous welcome the hosts made you feel right at home. Good size room and ensuite, very clean. Really comfortable bed. Good parking out the front for our motorbike. We would definitely recommend.
