Guesthouse Tanano/Dodo

Dodo's really captured the spirit of hosting. Out of all the guesthouses we stayed at whilst hiking from Mestia to Usghuli this was our favourite. Easy to locate and in an idyllic location, the atmosphere here was fantastic. The food, both breakfast and dinner, were the best we had on the trail by far. The whole place was clean, showers had excellent water pressure and the bedrooms warm when you used the radiator.

It was a bit chilly in the rooms but that could be rectified by plugging in the electric radiator, and the bathrooms were a bit far from our room, but again, it wasn't really an issue.

Die ganz herzliche Vermieterin, das leckere Essen. Einfach die Gastfreundschaft. Erste Worte der Hauswirtin:" I love my guests" Und genau so wars. Alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt.

Dodo was welcoming. She allowed us to choose the room we wanted to stay in. She and her daughter prepared vegan and vegetarian options for us, which we appreciated. The food was good and plentiful. The facilities were decent considering the price and that it is in a remote village.

The total price for breakfast+dinner+lunch box is quite steep compared to other guesthouses we stayed in on the trek, without an option of ordering only dinner or only breakfast. For some reason, it is significantly more expensive than the accommodation price. Take that into consideration and clarify the price before ordering food.

位置很方便，房东奶奶人超级nice，就像亲奶奶一样热情友好，做饭也好吃，我们洗了衣服晾在外面，奶奶怕第二天衣服不干，还特意帮我们把衣服拿到暖房里烘干，真的非常贴心~

The owner Dodo is the sweetest host! She made us feel so welcome, and her family made us the best dinner and breakfast!

El MEJOR alojamiento de nuestra estancia en Georgia. La hospitalidad de Dodo es fantástica, es una señora super entrañable. El desayuno y la cena fueron buenísimos, muy abundantes, y nos llevamos parte del desayuno para la ruta. Además, Dodo se esfuerza un montón por hablar inglés y hacerse entender y nos contó un montón de cosas de la vida en el pueblo y su casa, también nos dejó subir a la torre de la casa. La habitación estaba bien, lo que te puedes esperar en una casa antigua y aislada, pero las camas cómodas y todo muy limpio. Recomiendo 100% quedarse y vivir la experiencia.

Todo fue perfecto.

Si nous pouvions donner plus de 10, nous le ferions sans hésiter. Accueil chaleureux par Dodo, logement avec beaucoup de charme (notamment avec la tour dans laquelle nous avons pu grimper) et repas délicieux.
