Homestay 117 Bà Triệu - Đồng Hới

Lovely family run Homestay with very humble owners. Our room was big, comfortable, everything worked and whilst possibly considered more 'basic' was perfect for myself and my daughter. Hot water shower, super clean bedroom and bathroom, good lighting, useful TV with decent channels for the evenings, air con AMAZING and a very good fan also. Lots of towels. I LOVE the VN mattresses, super firm and a great nights sleep. The pillows were OK but we are very fussy about pillows. Wif worked well. Also worth mentioning is that this homestay is very very well designed. There are no external windws in the rooms and the rooms come off a dark cool corridor (also with no windows) - at our visit Dong Hoi waa ridicualously hot and humid; going back to the homestay was excellent and cool, the room wasnt too hot at all :-) Highly recommedn this place, we stayed for longer and will certainly have good memeories form here and return if we come back to Dong Hoi for a third time. Thankyou.

Honestly, i can think of anything. In the mornings there is a littel noise from movement and talking etc at early O'clock (7.00am ish etc) but this is normal throuhgout Vietnam and its our sleep p[atterns which we adjust.

Simple but comfy facilities with smiley support and assistance from the owners.

Quite small bathroom and shower, and the bed mattress was hard.

Owners are very nice, welcoming, and accommodating of late arrivals. Central location, close to restaurants and shops.

Beds were box-spring hard (if you like that sort of thing).

Staff were excellent and let me store my bag free of charge while i went on a day tour of caves. This enabled me to catch the sleeper train that night.
