Al Casa Paquito

Great accommodation in an interesting corner of Portugal. Paulo was super helpful, allowing us to keep our four bikes indoors and charge them overnight. His sense of humour was a nice bonus while communication was very smooth.

Good value for money. The owner Paolo is a very open person who tries hard to make his guests feel home. The place is much better than the description suggests. For example, usually only two rooms are occupied which leaves one bathroom per room! Paolo said that he lets all three rooms only to groups of five or six. The kitchen is well equipped, including a washing machine. Quiet! We would stay again.

The place was a bit damp (may be true for all of Almograve). The squeaking doors (rooms and closets).

Peaceful location in the small quiet town, and great value. Paulo was a very friendly host and we had no complaints!

Note that it is easy to hear noise from residents in other rooms, so earplugs may be useful if you are a light sleeper

Normally on this hike I'd have chosen something cheaper, but everything was booked out. So, I ended up here but what a fantastic place, well worth the extra money paid. Hikers, you won't be disappointed!
