The owners were very welcoming and friendly. The hostal was a stone-built property full of traditional furniture and located in stunning surroundings The bar had a real log fire and we were served a very good home-cooked dinner there. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. An ideal stop over for cyclists and hikers.

"Stay at charming Venta San Blas!"

The warm welcome from the hosts was so wonderful after a challenging walk on the Camino Baztan. The room was very clean and the accommodation was very quiet despite being literally on the main road (no traffic, really and double glazing blocked out everything). The heating was very appreciated and the shower was hot. A lovely stay! Lovely charming guesthouse where the hosts make you feel special.

A shower over the bathtub might be challenging for arthritic hips.

The room and bathroom were an excellent size and very warm for a chilly evening. The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. The snack ordered in the evening and breakfast were very good value for money.

A hairdryer in the room would have been helpful.
