"Ok at the time but less good in hindsight compared to the other places we stayed."

The location. Very handy for exploring historical Greytown and the Waiohine Gorge.

Room was too small. we felt cramped. Noisy party in nearby property on the first night. Less value for money compared to the other places we stayed. Absent host who we never met.

"I'd stay again but not in summer without air conditioning."

In a great location and lovely setting. Very small but we enjoyed ourselves.

We stayed in the heat of summer. The unit had one fan which was great for one person. We had to borrow a tower fan from a relative. For that kind of heat and humidity the cottage needed a heat pump. Can't leave doors open due to lots of mosquitoes.

"Cosy stay at Ivy’s Cottage"

We had a lovely overnight stay in Ivy’s Cottage. It was cosy and quiet. The communication from Kathy was really good and easy access with the lockbox. It was a short walk into town for dinner.

We loved the cottage, its facilities and location. It is opposite the Alexia winery and is a 10-15 minute walk to the supermarket and town centre.

"Comfy studio cottage"

The owner was lovely and friendly and very accommodating. She gave us fresh towels without having to ask as we were there for six nights. Lovely quiet cottage, 2 minutes drive to town. Trees surrounding the cottage are beautiful and we woke up to birds singing. Bed was super comfortable and the shower was great!

Nowhere to put clothes if staying for an extended time. Didn't really want to live out of a suitcase, but there were very limited empty drawers available. Needed a colander to drain my pasta. (Very trivial, I know).
