Parasol dore

Great service - rooms were spacious and very clean. Julie and Jeremey are great hosts and have very trusted reliable contacts when it comes to logistic and discovering the region. We liked swimming in the pool with a view on the Ocean.

My partner and I recently enjoyed a 4-night stay at Parasole Doré, and it was absolutely perfect. Our room was immaculate and beautifully designed, offering stunning ocean views through bifold doors equipped with one-way glass for added privacy. The property had a wonderfully spacious and relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was a daily highlight, with a variety of delicious options that changed each morning, keeping things fresh and exciting. However, the standout feature of our stay was the incredible staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to assist. A special mention goes to Roshan, whose attentive and thoughtful service ensured our stay was nothing short of perfect.

Parasol Dore is a gorgeous gem of a villa, situated on a small and quiet beach near Dickwella. We loved the location, very quiet but within walking or short tuk-tuk distance to Dickwella and Hiriketiya when we felt like “opting in” to those other places. Most of all we loved the staff - everyone - made us feel at home in ways we could never have expected! We are so grateful we could stay here.

Julie, Jeremy and all of their staff made our stay very special. They are very welcoming and helpful with all your requests. We really did feel like being their guests and not their customers. The house is really nice and spacious. It has only three guest rooms, so it makes it very special. We enjoyed the relaxing area. The whole place is equipped very lovely and most importantly very clean. The breakfast is amazing. Everyday you get served something new and all extra wishes or food allergies have been taken care of. You have access to a really great beach right in front of the house.

You have to go by tuk tuk almost everywhere, but it is only a short ride. For us that wasn’t even negative because we liked the off the track place to enjoy some quiet rest. Maybe the covers for the sunbeds could be replaced, other than that there is absolutely nothing to say negatively.

Awesome rooms, really nice stuff and great breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at Parasol dore. You have the ocean just in front and an amazing view.

Very nice and quiet place run by a French family with a very welcoming local staff. 3 rooms only decorated with style and where you feel at home. Nice small pool on the (as if private ;)) beach and terrasse upstairs to enjoy amazing breakfast looking at ocean waves. Just 5 minutes away : Turtle point, walking on the beach and Hiriketyia, with Tuktuk, to enjoy swimming, surfing and chilling in nice restaurants. We do recommend !

Had a wonderful relaxing weekend here. Beautiful view of the sea in the room, which had a gorgeous bathroom. Amazed by the extraordinary architecture of the house. The breakfast was exceptional, one of the best I've had in SL. There is also a little shop in the building for luxury linen items. You are right on the beach and walkable to the nearby turtle bay, and close to dickwella and hiriketiya.

The rooms were great. Nicest breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka (those omelettes 🔥). Jeremey and Roshan and all of the staff were amazing and accommodating.
