The facilities are of the very best quality .. Location is great ( a bit tricky to find) The house has been renovated using tasteful and top end furniture and fittings ..

"Very comfortable stay with great local information and ideas for walks and visiting places of local"

Our host provided us with a very good book of local information including walks and places of historic interest. There was also a shelf of local interest books and OS maps which we enjoyed. Although our guest house was very quiet we were right in the middle of the historic town and enjoyed strolling round it in the evening.

Rather shabby entry and staircase, could have done with new runners and painting.

Every effort had been made to create a lovely well equipped room . Fresh brilliant white bedding . Pre arrival questions about what sort of pillows I would like and what sort of refreshments I would like . Really excellent and considerate

Exceptional eye for detail as beautiful bedding and towels. The snacks provided were local and generous. All in a beautiful and quiet location too so thanks both Alun & Ian.

"If I was coming to this area again, I would definitely book this guest house."

Great location. Good facilities - everything you needed was in the room. The room was spacious, comfortable and the owners restocked items if we wished it.

Lack of shelves in bathroom to put toiletries. Had to put them on the back on the toilet cistern.
