The property has character and the wine tasting is a great add-on.

It’s in a main thoroughfare - you are NOT in a vineyard or in the country. once you get inside, it does feel like you are at a vineyard though.

This was my third or fourth stay at Anzivino. Tasting and buyIng their wine is tha reason to go there but the accommodations are charming and the people very nice. I return because I love the place and their wines although it is a long detour on my way from Milan to Como which is my main destination.

It is not a place to stay for a longer holiday, but very much price worthy for a couple of nights to explore Gattinara, this DOCG wine region, as well a the nearby Ghemme region.
