It was a pleasure staying here. Great view of the sea and direct access to the beach. Nice that there’s a place to eat on-site. The room was a bit dark, but overall very comfortable for the price. The owner is a kind man :) I recommend this place to everyone and wish the hotel prosperity!

No WiFi was a huge problem for me. Manager said there hadn’t been any for three days. When I spoke to the owner he said she wasn’t telling the truth. Doubtful 🤨 I asked to get a refund after the first night. He finally said ok but with a penalty. Starting talking nonsense about being a local business on the island and why is it I don’t care. Yeah right buddy. The manager refunded the first night with a penalty they said was for the booking.com commissions. This clown needs to take accountability and responsibility and not throw the local staff under the bus. She came to the room later and gave me a full refund. I honestly believe they thought I was Indian until I spoke to the owner. That’s when the full refund came. Not cool. Completely unnecessary. Also no hot water if you need it. I’m cool without. However as others a have mentioned there is an odd sulphuric rotten egg stench coming from the bathroom.

I stayed at Ana Warung and Bungalows three weeks ago and had an overall pleasant experience. The room itself was quite tiny, but it had a nice spacious veranda and a clean, comfortable bathroom. The accommodation offers excellent value for money, situated in a peaceful, quiet location—so pleasant, in fact, that I considered extending my stay by an extra night. The highlight of my stay was definitely the turtles that frequently visited the ocean area directly in front of the restaurant. Watching multiple turtles grazing on the underwater grass and surfacing to breathe was truly stunning and unforgettable. All in all, despite the room's small size, I enjoyed my stay and would recommend it, especially for those looking for tranquility and close encounters with marine wildlife.

Staff are spectacular, room was clean, beach has turtles and great snorkeling and the restaurant has great food.

Room is super small, with no where to really put your belongings. Mosquito nets should be on the beds as the bathrooms are open to the outside allowing them to come in easily.

Limited but satisfactory

Cold water showers ...not even Luke warm... unpleasant aroma behind chalet (s).... bearable but needs attention. Stayed 5 nights...lovely location,attentive service and Pete the owner was in attendance to answer questions.Apart from minor issues which I have outlined we have no complaints. Would go again.

Terrific staff, friendly family owned place to stay, directly on the beach. It is a genuine place to stay where you feel completely safe and can trust the people working there.

Noting to dislike really. It is a low cost stay by the beach and a delightful place.

Great spot, comfortable, nice restaurant, food was amazing with turtles views while you are having a drink or food. Lovely staff and snorkel just off the beach

The water in the shower was cold but it is understandable by how remote the island is and it is also so hot that it is not really a problem either

Lush garden, cozy bungalow with a terrace, still not overloaded with people, right at the beach, super helpful and kind people. Just loved it!

this is a charming family run place directly in front of a fabulous snorkelling spot. Staff were attentive without being intrusive, and best of all, they seem really happy to be working here. For me it is an important marker of good business that staff are treated fairly and well, and the staff at this place seemed totally content and relaxed, as well as being competent and diligent. This was a very big plus for me. The rooms are sweet and comfortable. I was upgraded to an air-conditioned room, which contained not one but two lovely couches! There were lots of thoughtful details, like lighting a mosquito coil and leaving a small bottle of repellent for you at dusk. The snorkelling directly in front of the accommodation is great. Hot tip - you need to swim about 50 metres out to get past the rubble and sea grass to where the reef proper starts. I did a couple of drift snorkels where I walked a few hundred metres up the beach and swam back. This was also great. The owners were very accommodating when I had a couple of unusual requests. I genuinely hope that this little spot thrives and endures so I can return in future years.

sometimes they played top 40 rock which is not my jam, but this is true of the whole of Indonesia. In the morning they played traditional Balinese music which is perfect for watching the turtles swim by over breakfast. Such a spectacular location, the music hardly mattered.
