Villa Evergreen - Hikkaduwa

- Location was fab, we were a few minutes away by Tuk-tuk from Hikkaduwas' main strip and beach - Spacious well equipped accommodation, kitchen and rooms - Host was very response to us in terms of queries for our arrival and departure

- The aircon in one room did not work so was sweltering hot - There was a cockroach problem in one of the rooms, we stayed there for two nights and came across 6 cockroaches. - Accommodation didn't let us know in advance that payment was to be made in cash, luckily we were carrying dollars.

Everything was fine 👍🏼

The rooms were exceptionally clean and well equipped. I also liked that we had the room with the balcony But the best part is the huge "chill area" sofa which was very comfortable

Everything was nice. I knew it’s not in the center so location a bit far from the crowd was nice. Though if someone want in the center than it’s 25 minute walk.

Nice, big Room. Very clean and comfortable! There’s also a kitchen to use. Also very close to a calm part of the beach! The center is a 5min tuk tuk, or scooter ride away. Malsha and his family are very attentive and have a lot of recommendations what to do around the area. We also went fishing with malsha, and had the fish we caught for dinner. We had a lovely time and would definitely recommend it.

Staying at Malsha's Evergreen villa was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The room was really nice. Very big, nice bathroom. It has AC and a fan (the room was super hot, sunny side of the building) but with AC was okay.

Saying that a room has a sea view is exaggeration since you have a busy street view and in between the buildings you can see a little bit of the sea (view from the balcony is on my picture). There was only warm water, no cold water. As a female solo traveler I didn’t feel good with the owner, young guy who was sending me messages all the time, came to the room in the evening to get the money. It wasn’t cool, I felt a little bit unsafe. After leaving I had to block his phone number because he was calling all the time.
