- Allowed earlier check-in so we could leave our things and get changed for the beach (although the son initially said the room is not yet ready - this happens frequently in Sri Lanka). - Helped us arrange a tuk-tuk for the train the next day. Although it came with difficulties, after asking if she'll come up to tell us if the driver is available she replied "I'm a married woman.".

- The owner (old lady) acted like she's interested in my thoughts or feelings. Even after telling her about how expensive Sri Lanka has been for us and the racist pricing against tourists she tried to pocket 1/4 of the stay's cost - basically the only money we had left at the end of our trip. After the amount of times locals have tried to rip us off on the daily basis this was the breaking point for me which ruined the remainder of the vacation. - Room could be cleaner, shower had leftover hair. - AC barely working, it looks like it was found in the ocean.

Lovely family, super helpful and friendly :) Clean and comfortable stay in a great location. Also, steady hot shower (luxury in Sri Lanka). Definitely recommended!

- Cozy, clean house with wonderful hosts! - Comfortable bed - Very fast internet. - Security system. - Very good location - No bad odors outside (I traveled a lot in Sri Lanka, hard to find a room without odor). - Lots of plants around - Good air conditioning - Uninterrupted hot water

I liked everything

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Sweden Inn Guesthouse. I spent one delightful night there, and I must say, its location is incredibly convenient for accessing the main attractions in the city. The overall experience was truly pleasant.

Perfect place to stay. The room I had was clean and the bed was comfy, I especially liked that there was AC as well as a fan, and a fridge to keep my water in. I was working while here and the Wi-Fi was good and I had a desk to work from. The beach is literally across the road and everything you need is in walking distance. The best thing about the stay though has to be Chandine the host, she is the most lovely lady. Really friendly and generous and she made it feel like I was staying with family.
