The owner is friendly and looks to make you feel comfortable. I had nice conversations with him. The accommodation itself has a good location and there is everything nearby. The restaurant opposite is very good and also to the beach you have it not far. The rooms themselves are also well equipped and by the fact that there is air conditioning, it makes the stay perfect. I would book this accommodation again, as everything has fit.

Great location, just a short walk to a beautiful beach and great shops/restaurants. The owner helped us with arranging laundry and a tuk tuk ride. Comfortable room.

We loved being by the train tracks but it can wake you up during the night. The owner insisted on us paying in dollars which I appreciate is a new rule introduced in 2022 however nowhere else required this.. it was inconvenient to have to exchange money.

The lady in charge with the place is very nice and attentive, she tried to accommodate our needs. The room is spacious and nice, the shower is powerful with hot water. The bed is very comfortable and the location is good, in a very nice area of Hikkaduwa, 2 min to the beach and lots of restaurants around the mail street. Most complains about the train, but we loved to see it all the time from our balcony 😊

The cleaning a bit disappointing, but not a tragedy.

Unprofessional staff and the place was not as it described. Very difficult road access to the place. I was very frustrated about the check in process. When I reached the place, there was no one in the above property to give me the access to the property. I spent about 45 minutes waiting till someone comes. We tried to call them more than 20 times , but no answer. Since there was no one there to give me access, we finally decided to leave the place with frustration. I strongly advised anyone not to choose this place.

Very kind host who loved to talk and is curious about you. The room and house were very clean. Not far from beach and ocean.

The only thing that can bother you is the trains passing by, but not too often

Everything was very clean. The staff inside were extremely nice ! Even though they couldn’t speak. lot of English but Google translate is easy and it solves the problem quickly. They are very smiling, friendly and available for us. Lovely. And we had anything to complain about. Wi-Fi works very well. Breakfast with eggs, fruits and toast was perfect for us. We had a lovely stay.

We had to pay in US dollars. And maybe the room near the rails can annoy some people. But even our kids never heard the train for the nights we stayed. Otherwise everything went very well.
