Ivanhoe Guest House

Breakfast was excellent Host very attentive. Accommodation had roadside parking space outside. Everything we needed was available.

We were lacking space especially room5 and would have liked larger single rooms. Shower in room 4 was very noisy and floors creaked. Some of the decoration needed an upgrade.

Comfortable room, just a short walk from the centre of Inverness. Great breakfast

Host was very friendly and keen to please guests. Breakfast offer was good. Accommodated my vegan diet. Location good for railway, restaurants and shopping in Inverness.

Room was hot due to weather. Glad a fan was provided. I did book a small single room but it’s size was difficult to manage with a large suitcase.

Janette who runs the guesthouse is friendly and helpful. My room was a little funky in shape and smallish,but it was cozy and very well thought out with plenty of spaces to put things. The bathroom was small but very functional. Everything was clean. The neighborhood I’d very quiet but I enjoyed the 10-15 minute walk into the center of town and walking along the river.

If you prefer fancy pretty hotel rooms, this is not right for you. But if modest, clean and functional works for you this is a fine place.

Vriendelijke mensen, kleinschalig b&b. Goede locatie, rustige buurt.

Slaapkamers zijn erg gehorig, vooral de douche maakt erg veel lawaai. Badkamer had wat schoner gemogen.

Great room and very nice owners

Very clean rooms. Good and silent location, at walking distance from the city centre. Special thanks to Janette, the landlady who prepared the room asap so I could enter it already. This after getting ill during a multi day hiking trip in the mountains. She really takes care of her guests. It was not my first stay here and I will return for sure.
