The receptionist was welcoming. Gave us extra heater because the one in our room was not effective. We had a good night's sleep

I thought breakfast was inclusive according to what I saw on booking.com. in the morning, I sent a message to confirm that breakfast was inclusive or I had to pay extra. I got no response, I called and no one answered. I went to the reception, it was closed. The phone number in the rooms doesn't exist. In summary, no response to my message and no one answered my call to this moment

It is a quiet location, except for the noise of other guests. The sounds travel between rooms. It is well located for access to Kimberly and Anglo-Boer War sites..

The units are not suitable for older couples. We are a couple of years on either side of 70, and if we were not as active as we are, we would have stuggled. The rooms have a double bed and two singles, and no easy chairs. The floor is split level with steps that can be awkward at night, and have some sharp and dangerous corners. The shower is tiny, the water pressure a trickle, and the floor drains very slowly. The lighting of the room is very poor. There are no provisions for load-shedding, which we had one night. There is a paraffin lamp, but the wick is too short to reach the paraffin. Based on the reviews I had read, my expectations were not fulfilled.

Did not have breakfast. Will want to have it next time

I think that the road to the location is not ideally suited for cars.

Loved the ambiance and the location was perfect, we didn't want to be in town and it wasn't too far out of town. Nature is beautiful and the animals
