Sehr nettes Personal, saubere Zimmer mit schönen alten Möbeln und Holzboden, gutes Frühstück.

The buildings have a sense of heritage and our room was nice and spacious. We also had a lovely terrace outside. Good secure parking. Lots of cold orange juice and drinking water. The manager, Lawn, could not have been more helpful and was delighted when we pointed out our challenges with the room. He said it meant that he could fix everything that he hadn’t known about.

The shower was unusable - either scalding hot or icy cold. The air conditioner didn’t work. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. The write up on booking.com indicated that there was a microwave and a toaster in a fully fitted kitchen. It read as though these were in our room but it turned out when we chatted to the manager this morning that there was a separate kitchen available for all the rooms which we were not informed about.

No halaal breakfast eventho I enquired before over telephone as well as through bookings.com. After I checked out I received a msg to say they arrange a halaal breakfast. The chef tried to accommodate us while we were there

The water pressure was extremely low....not good to shower there. The toilet had a bad smell.....

Clean comfortable beds. Breakfast was delicious

Perfect stopover between Gauteng and the Cape, safe offstreet parking and close to restaurants to grab a bite to eat.
