Small arranged kitchen, I couldn't believe that such a small space could be converted to a usable kitchen.

I tried to look for braai facilities, and I couldn't get one

Ceiling fan squeaked terribly and couldn’t be used . Would have liked airco or alternative fan .

Croeso Guest House is located in a quiet and strategic position. The ceiling fan was not enough for us as the air was not getting to my daughter (toddler) bed, so when I asked the owner, she immediately arranged the provision of a new standing fan, which was promptly delivered to us. We also requested lighter duvets and they were changed after we asked. We did not hear any mosquitos, which is also very nice.

The following should not be considered as a complaint, but rather as a reference in an effort to make some of the areas of improvement more visible to the management, so that this place can become even better and fulfil its full potential. We found the housekeeping policy a bit unclear, while the cleaning is done every second day we assumed beds would have been made every day, but they weren't. Same with dishes. Maybe that should be clarified a bit more, or in any case made more consistent. We would have appreciated some coordination in terms of time for the cleaning / housekeeping too, as in one occasion we have been away the entire morning, then we were back after lunch and while my daughter was taking a nap, the lady knocked at our door as she forgot to take the trash from our bin. Maybe that should have happened in the morning. Then, when other guests were using water, our kitchen sink was making very loud noises, which scared us the first time as it happened at 23:00. Something should be done in terms of plumbing to avoid that issue. No shade is provided for the private outside area, which makes it very impractical when the sun is very hot. We wanted to use it but had to give up and stay inside due to the lack of shade in a couple of occasions. We once found a gardener "breaking in" through the little gate that connects the communal garden and the room backyard without notice. Maybe that could also be announced just to make sure guests are aware in case they were planning to stay outside. No drying lines are available in the backyard, making it harder to get swimwear or towels to dry. I also assumed that the car parking was enclosed behind a gate when we booked, but it was actually outside, which is fine as there were tents providing shades and the area seems really safe, so that's just a note.
