Très bel endroit avec un monsieur très serviable. Prêt de vélos et de parapluies gratuitement, très utile pour aller visiter. Nous recommandons ce lieu.

Spacious room, confortable bed,lovely view.owner came to pick us up at the ferry and dropped us back at thd end of our stay.He wax very obliging .

Shower area was mouldy in places. Lovely hot water.

The island is small so nowhere is a bad location. Walking or biking everything is accessible. Our host took as to and from the port on arrival and departure. This place was very quiet ,clean and good view. The water pressure was good and the hot water consistent.

The beds were uncomfortable , the bathroom unpleasant and our host barely said three words to us and even with google translate communication was poor. In 2018 this place got 8.2 on booking.com. I don’t think that anything has been donesince then. We booked this as it was the last room available on the island in November 2024 for April 2025 ! I

Large, comfortable room. Shared bathrooms, shower and fridge. Towels, sheets, cold water and tea provided. Good internet. This was a great location to stay with bikes; 5 minutes biking to two main art areas (Benesse and Honmura), and about 15-20’ from the other main town, where the ferry arrives. Right on the bay; nice views! The owner also stored our luggage for us (in the entry hall, as is common in Japan).

Shower facilities a bit dated, and shared by all guests. The owner only knew a few words of English, so we communicated via a translation app. It’s fine as long as you’re patient. 😀

Super nice host! Not a lot of English but used a translation app and very helpful! Close to a bus stop but not a lot of amenities within walking distance. Right near the ocean.
