The Courtyard, Laurel Farm

Perfect as always.

Warm welcome from the lovely owners who are very attentive to their guests needs. Felt like home immediately. Great location outside of town so no traffic noise at all from the little road and plus the walls are thick so no noise at all neither from the other rooms next to mine. Speedy wifi. Great spacious double room, very clean, comfy bed, great bathroom designed for disabled people (very enjoyable for non disabled too as it's very spacious!), lovely kitchen corner with everything we need to make tea + fresh milk and a bottle of water. No breakfast on offer but there's a fridge/freezer to store our food and a microwave to warm it up. Private roomy car park inside the property. They have a card machine so we can pay by card.

There's nothing I didn't like tbh. One thing that would be nice would be to get the property entrance filled with tarmac as the potholes there are quite deep. And also a blind that covers a bit better the window in the door. But these are really minor details and it definitely not stopped me to enjoy my stay !

This was excellent value for money. A quiet place to relax at the end of a day of local sightseeing

Very clean and comfortable

We brought cereal with us. Janet kindly gave us milk, so that was breakfast solved. The location was great - we managed to get to Minsmere, the RSPB bird reserve in Suffolk, and Felbrigg Hall in Norfolk. We liked the privacy of our room overlooking the courtyard.

We were slightly confused by the addition of a microwave in the room with no crockery or cutlery. I suppose we could have purchased a microwave meal and eaten it from its container. However, we had intended to eat out so this was not a problem for us.

Spacious, comfortable, friendly.
