Riad Dar Labzar

The Riad was beautiful! Ikram was also a lovely host, who cooked a lovely breakfast. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here at the Riad. It can be a little confusing to find it at first, but this is just like any other Riad. You soon get used to the way.

The reason I’m not giving it a 10 is because the AC was not strong at all. This made it really difficult for us, especially in the extreme temperatures of 40•C heat and because of this, we were not able to sleep comfortably at night.

The riad is exactly like the photos, very clean and modern , ikram was very nice and helpful we were a group of 6 and it was a good size ,nice and private also safe. I would stay again when visiting marrakesh.

we had a very good experience staying in this property the manager ikram was very professional and all the time we were in the property we had not a single issue. only thing is you needs to be ready for 5 min walks through real Morocco life style which is ok but once you are in the property I will give 5* to all the way well pleased with it recommend to any one 🙏

Spacious home and rooms. Modern decorations, clean and tidy. Kitchen has lots of facilities such as induction hob, kettle, pans, plates, cutlery etc. Our host Ikram was easy to contact and she replied quickly and accommodated our needs. Breakfast is tasty. The terrace has very nice views of the city and mountains. The alleyways leading to the Riad were safe for us and well lit at night. Good Wi-Fi on all levels. Taxi spot is very close. Our stay was great apart from a few small things.

The air conditioning is not good, especially in the top floor bedroom. They are fixed behind the cupboards. It made our stay very uncomfortable in 40°C heat. We found small cockroaches in the top floor bedroom, and noticed a mouldy smell. There is a privacy issue on the middle floor bedroom where there is a window that you can see inside the bathroom from the hallway. The towels/bedding were not changed in our 4 night stay, but our host did tidy the rooms everyday. The alleyways leading to the Riad can a bit confusing and long, and they smell of sewage. Random man rang the doorbell a few times.

The property was very nice. It was so lovely and just at the heart of the city center. Easily accessible if you have scheduled activities and the rooftop was amazing! Sunset and sunrise can be seen which was a plus😍 Definitely would recommend if you plan to go see the beauty of marrakech. Add a very accomodating host which showed us a lot of recommended places to see😍

Ikram and Françoise were wonderful hosts. They really looked after us. We even requested them for extra time to checkout and there wasn’t any hesitancy from them. Ikram was always contactable and helped us navigate the directions with our taxi driver. She would come in the morning and prepare some lovely breakfast. Also the Riad is in walking distance to the square, souk and all the attractions. Beds were large and super comfortable. Each rooms had a shower and toilet. Their sitting area in the terrace was amazing. The Riad can be difficult to find, so do ensure you contact them beforehand to not get lost.

The distance from the main drop off point to the riad. We used a porter who charged us double. We didn’t know that the riad was providing this service, so would have been useful to know this in advance. One of the toilets in the second floor had an issue with privacy. It has a window from where one can look while climbing down the stairs and into the toilet if you are inside. You may find sometimes noise coming from the streets at night if there is a bike passing.

Everything! The house is big and beautiful. Excellent location and Ikram took care of everything so our stay would just be lovely.
