I loved my stay at Nathaly's Hostel! It felt like the perfect peaceful haven after staying on the other side of the island. The room I was allocated was decently sized — I had a choice of two double beds and an en-suite and two fans all to myself for under £10! We left it too late to eat but the hosts were super accommodating and even went to the effort of making my friend and I dinner after the restaurant had closed. The food was great and affordable. Perhaps my favourite thing about my stay was the garden and the chatty parrots.

I liked everything and would definitely stay here again. 😊

If you want a peaceful sleep at night without the constant sound of dogs barking…this is your place. So quiet. The owners are there to help you. On site there are cows, horses, talking parrots and a beautiful (non barking dog)😁 It truly is a magical place…I’ve been to Moyogalpa 4 times now and this is by far my favourite. Everything was just the way I wanted it..perfect 😁

The place is 20’ walk from the town, so it’s nice and quiet there. Lot of hammocks for chilling, pool which is lovely on those hot days. Owner organized tour for 15 usd with 3 stops, that was nice.

First day I came there was no place for me, so I was put across the street into a very basic room, no discount offered. Try to get a room away from the reception, I think that’s where the family resides and it can get loud. The major disappointment is the birds kept in cages; there’s two beautiful parrots in a cage where they cling to the walls, trying to get out. There’s another small cage with 3 smaller parrots, one of them is missing feathers on the neck, I saw it trying to squeeze through the cage. Really cruel to keep birds from being free for a bit of entertainment. Lovely, but a bit skinny dog lives on the property too.

Has a pool! Friendly and helpful staff!
