Guest house Kajaki-Ragaciems

Location and area were very nice. Apartment was quite well equipped and it was possible to cook food there. The host was kind.

We didn't get any information or message from the host beforehand so we didn't know how to get in. There weren't any instructions or recommendations in the apt either (at least in other languages than Latvian). It was a surprise the cottage was in the backyard of host's own house. The apt was very cold when we arrived and it warmed up slowly. Noises from other apartment were loud so ear plugs were needed. In the toilet there was a sign that said "Please don't throw toilet paper in the toilet" which imo was very unhygienic. I wish I would have liked more of this place.

Good, quiet apartment with secure parking. Nice sea food restaurant nearby.

It’s better than in the pictures

Peace and serenity - it's a great way for anyone visiting Latvia to experience its natural beauty, and for locals to break out of their routine. The house was spacious enough for three families, and we were greeted by a friendly dog. Everything was clean and had everything we needed. Very close by, there were two restaurants and a small grocery shop, which is rare in small villages. The owner even went out of her way to return an item we forgot. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend peaceful days by the sea.

Perfect location, walking distance to the sea, very friendly and welcoming host and cozy house, everything was great :) we will come back for sure!

Location was perfect - close to the sea, at the same time shops and restaurants are in walkable distance. Kitchen had everything to cook meals. Owner was very welcoming and caring - we even got tomatoes straight from the greenhouse 🙃 Children were happy and busy playing outside.

Even though owner explained that they have filtration system in place, we used our own water to drink and cook.

Close wolking distance to the see, garden, table at the front door for breakfast. Bbq.

We had a lot of chairs outdoors where to dray the clothes but we could not find any dryer. As after see or showers,kids it's a lot of clothes.

It was clean, fully equipped with the facilities.

Shower water was smelling like sewage.
