Lastin Dvor

We had a magical stay here. Lastin Dvor is a historic cottage lovingly restored and preserved by its owners. Rooms are newly refurbished and tastefully decorated. We were so glad to have a good fridge, coffee machine and plates/cups/wine glasses/cutlery. We were particularly impressed by a cutting board and a knife for cheese! Suzanna and Marcus are superb hosts, they supported us in every way possible throughout our stay: from helping with parking to giving valuable advice on what to do in local area. The island itself is a gem, filled with beautiful medieval architecture and an array of restaurants serving local delicacies. Beaches that encircle the island are clean and turquoise, one can find a shadowed place to lay down in no matter the sun hour. We enjoyed a couple of short walks from the island, particularly special was the mythical lake Dragon Eye, and seeing a sunset by the Chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Rogoznica is placed well for day trips to other Croatian and BiH towns and cities.

The hosts were really welcoming, the room decorated with quality furniture and accessories and the location was in the hearth centre of the small village but not too loud. Amazing view and very comfy bed even though it was a bit small.

For a longer stay I would have appreciated more space, a sink for washing food and a proper bin. I would not recommend it for a stay longer than 4 days.

We swam under the stars at midnight in crystal clear seas, the weather was so hot. Ate and drank in fantastic restaurants. The worst part of it all was that we had to leave. Thank you for everything.
