The hosts were very accommodating and stored our bikes overnight. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast set us up well for a big day of cycling.

No funcionaba la calefacción por lo que pasé frío, y el agua caliente de la ducha tampoco funcionaba, de tal forma que el agua estaba tibia / fria, la cantidad de agua que salía era mínima; al ducharme e intertar lavarme el pelo ( no lo conseguí) me congele Por si fuera poco el váter estaba roto, por lo que la tapa se movia, v era incomodisima. Necesita reparaciones urgentes.

1) The lack of timely response to my request for an early check-in (not even a sorry no) and the response (verging on rudeness) from the owner who arrived late for the check-in at the normal check-in time (17:00 hrs). (I was asked, "You all right mate?" to which I replied "I guess so" and his response was "You guess so? Really? I am only a minute late", which was not true, since he was 6 minutes late while I stood in the cold outside the property - no access even to a lobby unless you have already checked in and have a key) 2) The fact that at the time of booking on booking.com, there was no mention of the check-in and check-out times (for anyone who want to know, it is 17:00 to 20:00 for check-in and 07:00 to 10:00 for check-out and the property needs 72 hours notice to act on an early check-in request, so if you book less than three days ago, you may not even get a response until after you check in, as it was in my case),3) The meagre cooked breakfast, the quality of which has steadily been going downhill that has been going steadily downhill as has the service - for example, the menu offers both white and brown toast but I was not offered the choice and was given what I didn't want. 4) The fact that even though the facilities mention bath/shower, only a bath is viable because what is provided by way of 'shower' is a bath with a handheld showerhead at the end of a flexible hose, fixable only on top of the bath taps; there is no screen to prevent water going on to the floor; 5) Having to do downstairs to get milk other than oat milk for a tea, and to sort out problems with the old TV in the room, though the member of staff who dealt with both these issues was courteous and friendly.

Breakfast was very good. Location was good - close to city centre

Standard of cleanliness in bathroom was very poor. Towels were inadequate and needed replacing. Carpet needed cleaning.
