Hammocks are great. Parking was great. No hot water and no blankets. Also limited in number of towels. No fruit at breakfast. Door of room didn't close.

Very friendly staff and clean rooms. I just didn't like some giant ants that had an entrance to my room via a crack between wooden floor boards.

This hostel was mostly fantastic! The staff are all extremely nice, there were tours available to book right at the desk, and the breakfast was delicious, and everything was clean. Location is a little out of the center of town, but in a way that was awesome and quiet and yet close enough to easily walk anywhere still.

The room wasn't air conditioned (which I believe was advertised for the room, but maybe I made a mistake), and that town is extremely hot so sleeping was a bit tough. There was also a very loud rooster belonging to a neighbor outside our window who was crowing all night long, so sleeping was very tough because of that as well. Not sure if that's regular though, maybe we just got the unlucky night. Overall a great hostel still!

I enjoyed my stay here and the great location in the middle of Suchitoto. My room had a wonderful view of trees and nearby mountains. The homemade breakfasts were a great way to start the day. The staff were all attentive and professional. I enjoyed the sunrise lake tour that I booked through the hotel.

The nearby roosters start crowing early in the morning.

It was lovely to sit and eat breakfast next to the forest listening to the birds. Peaceful balcony area with a hammock. Great location very close to the lancha port and the town centre.

Fan in room was very loud and not that effective.

Good location, walking distance to town center of Suchitoto. Staff was welcoming, room was clean, comfortable with ac unit. Breakfast included with stay, which is always a plus for us. Place had a balcony with hammock which was cool. Great view of sunrise.

I don’t know whose rooster it was but it would crow in the afternoon and sometimes at night—of course sleep was disturbed during these times.

The staff was extremely friendly and made this a place I would return. The roosters start crowing as early as 3am so do beware. If you are a sound sleeper or have earplugs, you should be just fine. Breakfast was served promptly each day. By the time I left, I truly felt as if I were part of their family.
