Casa Avram

Our stay at Casa Avram was very comfortable. The facilities, food and staff were great and the property is gorgeous. Everyone was so helpful and friendly while we stayed at Casa Avram. Our room was clean and spacious with all the amenities we would have needed for a week stay. Perhaps our favorite aspect of our stay was the comfortable bed, the mattress was the most comfortable mattress in our entire stay in Romania. Casa Avram is also nestled in the scenic Romanian hillside making in quite serene and peaceful. For basic snacks, food etc there is a general store right down the street however, with a car Casa Avram is close to larger towns with more amenities than sucevita. We would definitely stay again on our next trip to Romania.

The pension has spacious parking lot and rooms. A restaurant at the bottom ( but havent got the chance to eat there ). Very nice personnel. Facilities such as pool, ping pong table.

* the internet doesnt work almost at all ( a lot of networks that have very little coverage, and different from room to room ). So basically I used mobile data * the light bulbs constantly flashing, because they were working in that section of the pension * no one time use shoes in the rooms * no fridge in the rooms * the hairdryer didnt work at all * water not potable ( they should have offered water in the rooms ) * Very cold in the rooms ( 12 and 14 rooms ) * pillows almost non existent * bedsheets smelled like a hospital * personnel always away ( I had to look for them 3 times - 2 times when I wanted to pay some beers, and one time when I wanted to checkout - so I just left the keys there and left obviously )

Everything there is at a bigger scale than normal hotels. The dining area is huge and also the rooms are huge, even the beds. We have stayed in two adjacent rooms and I think they had more than 100 square meters. The beds are very big and very comfortable. Each room had a couch and they were also very comfortable. If you want you can relax in a hot water barrel outside.

The building itself is functional and it looks good but you can see here and there that it would need some restoration. The bathroom is old but fully functional. The Chrome is damaged all over the towel support and the shower tub. It just looks non-hygienic. Also the water which is not for drinking has a brownish color. If you want to have a longer shower or for example if you are too families and at least six members you will run out of hot water pretty soon. The surroundings of the hotel have a lot of potential but are not being upkeeped.
