"Un sejur unde ne-am simtit ca acasa si cu siguranta vom mai reveni.Multumim gazdelor si personalului"

Cel mai bun si mai natural mic dejun de pana acum, iar locatia un mic paradis facut de mana unor oameni deosebiti.

Ca a trecut prea repede aceasta vacanta minunata.

"Great stay!"

10.0

I arrived and there was plenty of car parking spaces. Then I was greeted by a lovely smell at reception (and throughout the property, to be honest). Friendly staff. Clean toilets. Big room, with pleanty of towels, slippers and all sorts of sanitary products. Minifridge and TV, although I didn't use the TV. No aircon (at least in my room) but it wasn't an inconvenience. Again, cleanliness was omnipresent. The restaurant was great as well, with tasty food and plenty of options, although i didn't have a breakfast there. Prices might seem a bit high, compared to other places in the area, but it's for a good reason. Well justified. Would definitely recommend.

Limited options on spirits available at the bar, but that might be just me being picky.

Coffee machine could be upgraded in order to offer also cappuccino.

"Great location & amenities, but not for a relaxation stay. People were partly weird. Mixed feelings."

8.0

Very good food, very good pool & sauna, very good outdoor space. Hired staff (cooks, waiters) were very polite and kind, kudos to them! The owner lady was ok as well, asking us if we were having a good time. We received a complementary portion of local-made produce (zacusca), bread and starter drinks on our first evening meal, that kind of sweetened a really bad first impression. The pool is on the small end but is well made, has nice lighting in the evening, a waterfall if you like that and very good hydro-massage options. It's superb for a couple, decent size for 4, and in my opinion the top limit is 6 people at a time. The room is as clean and comfy as expected. It's exactly 4 "stars", but on the lower end when it comes to cleanliness (some dust, and dark stuff in the shower corners, hopefully not mold but remains of it). Also the size is at a minimum, but that's fine, you don't need space to dance in the room. Overall decent stay, with some mixed feelings.

Upon arrival, the owner's husband (we inferred later on it was him) was the only one in the lobby (not at the reception desk, in an armchair) and was just this massive bloke looking at us as if we broke into his house or something, we were literally scared a bit. Then he sent for the boy who was supposed to be at the reception like he was a mafia boss or something. Extremely weird man. Communication was bad to begin with: they didn't respond to the message i left upon registration. Upon a second message they responded, extremely telegraphic, not even a hello, it's like they were extremely bothered. In fact, they actually were bothered because they pay Booking.com a commission if you reserve online. They specifically mentioned that if we hadn't made the reservation online but via phone we would've had free access to the pool. But, since we used Booking.com to make the reservation, they had to bill us 50lei (about 10 euros) per day for the pool. You simply never tell a customer this kind of thing, makes you look very shady (by phone they also have a chance to "forget" issuing a receipt and if the client doesn't ask for it, they can skip on taxes). There's a drinking establishment across the street which plays really bad music (manele) late into the night, so even though by all other factors it sounds like a quiet place, it's not. You cannot enjoy an evening stroll around the property, the awful music kills any relaxation mood (and they can't do anything about it). If you're coming here to party, then it's great i guess. Luckily the closed windows of the room block most of the sound. Turn on the TV and you're set.
