Talkeetna Fireweed Cabins

Quiet, clean and close to town.

Low light in living area.

That location is awesome and highly recommended! Easy to reach, super clean and provides a cosy bed and a nice bathroom in the cabin. The owners take also care of complimentary beverages in the fridge as well as coffee, tea and snacks and they are very nice people, always there to help! Thank you for this nice stay at yours!

Clean, well equipped, nice decor

We really enjoyed our stay in the Fireweed Cabins in Talkeetna. The cabin is very well equipped and has everything one needs. Deanna & Rick were very nice hosts!

Well stocked necessities, including a cold beer in the fridge; great communication with the owner.

The two separate beds - one of them was a futon - but very comfortable. We really actually liked everything

Wonderful, well stocked cabin with all modern amenities. Full kitchen with all appliances large TV (50 inch?) with streaming, great bathroom with shower. Kitchen stocked with complementary local beer and cider, water, ice, coffee, tea, hot coco, just a great surprise! Then, to absolutely top things off Deanna knocks on the door with home made cookies, unbelievable! Deanna and Rick, the hosts are fantastic! Alaska hospitality at its finest! Would definitely stay here again next visit, but a few additional days. Enjoyed talking to Rick about local things as well as his saw mill he used to construct one of the Cabins. Stay here, you will love it!

Because it was just two of us we would have liked two chairs in place of the comfortable futon. However, with that said we understand that family's would appreciate the large futon for several kids or a second couple.
